My newest online class,
Collage Coterie, is ready and begins on August 15th! What's it all about?
A coterie is a small, exclusive group of people or friends with common interests.
This workshop brings you new collage images, ideas and prompts. There are lots of ideas and examples for integrating cohesive collage in the art you already do. Collage images are available in the class album when you first log on, and more are added with every session. Each session ends with a prompt from the lesson that you can use as a jumping off point for your art.
In my
Your Vintage Gluebook Class, you're challenged to stick with just paper and glue. In
Collage Coterie you can let loose and use any supplies you have!
You'll learn collage techniques that purposely contribute to the success of your pieces. With examples of altered books, ATCs, book cover assemblages, and more, I'll show you ideas for working with paper and ephemera and a variety of mediums like paints, inks and chalk.
The group has an invitation-only Flickr group for sharing art and discussions, with a lot of camaraderie and positive interaction, just like the
Your Vintage Gluebook group has.
The class begins on August 15th, with 2 lessons a week over 4 weeks, 8 lessons in total. The class blog will be open for another 7 months after so you have lots of time to play, review and download. The price is $30 for the entire program.

Read much more about Collage Coterie HERE, including information about supplies and the class format.
Your Vintage Gluebook participants can save $5 off the price of the class by using the discount code and registering through the YVG class blog.
I hope to see you there!
