You may know I collect old calendars, especially those that correspond to the current or upcoming year...well I'm just under the wire with this one!
I 'met' Lenna Young Andrews online a few years ago, when we were both in the ARTchix Yahoo group. We caught back up and became friends during my first class, Your Vintage Gluebook. Lenna has done a lot of truly beautiful vintage collage work; I've shown some here on my blog before.
She recently made a video of her vintage paper creations. It's really fun to watch and she told me I could share it here with you, just click on this link: http://animoto.com/play/hKJuM9uunkGfio0b8FN6TA
I hope you take a minute to watch it (and maybe make your own?) and let me know what you think.
Don't you love cutting-edge stuff?
I'm not sure if you've seen this from ralphlauren.com:
You can read a bit about it on their site, HERE. Fascinating tech and a great use for it.
In other news, all 3 sections of the Monet Water Lilies triptyck will be together next year.
Beginning in April they will be in Kansas City at the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art, then moving to St Louis in the fall and Cleveland after. I saw all three of them together more than 20 years ago, and cannot wait to experience them again.
OK, that's all of my news for today...I hope you're having a great weekend!
It's November, and time for another Collage Challenge! This month I'm sharing a sweet cabinet card image of a little girl. The handwriting on the back identifies her as Rosana Kelsey, aged one year. I think she's a charmer.

To play along:
The deadline is next Sunday, November 7th. On the 8th I'll draw a name at random and one participant will get to choose any image collection from my estore and I'll email it to you for free.
I can't wait to see what you create!
