It's the pocket moleskine, just 3 1/2" X 5 1/2". It's small enough to knock out a page in no time. So, if you've been amazed by my hard work & effort, I must disappoint you.
I recently ordered a couple books I found on eBay: 2 volumes of the 4 volume Cyclopedia of Drawing, from the American School of Correspondence. Published in 1907, "Prepared especially for Practical Men".
The books arrived and are in better shape than I expected, and with a lot of cool images. They have heavy, shiny pages; very nice. Part 1 is pretty torn up, but Part 2 is solid.
It got me thinking...I've been on the lookout for a candidate for an altered book. I haven't done one before, but a friend is planning to start one so she has me leaning that way.
One reservation I have is size...this is SOOOO much bigger than I'm used to right now!
That's my gluebook on top of the potential altered book. Daunting, isn't it? I'd be working on the silly thing for years.
I think I need to start much smaller...much.
