FINAL white on black w feb 2010

Artist Class, an online project classroom, is calling for artist submissions. Would you like to have your project or idea featured on Artist Class?

Your project might fit one or more of these categories:

· paper arts

· fabric & fiber arts

· journaling

· digital art

· jewelry making

· paint and canvas

· gift ideas

Projects should be appealing, fun, quick - and individual enough to stand out.

Please consider submitting one or more tutorial ideas, even if you’ve never done so before.

What should the final tutorial look like?

Project instructions should be easy to read and easy to understand. Don’t forget to list materials and include enough pictures to document each of the appropriate steps.

It's best if final tutorials are in PDF or Word document format, ready to be downloaded. A primary photograph for marketing materials should be in jpeg form.

Submissions should be ready to post. No editing or rewriting will be done to your work without your permission.

What do the Artists receive?

Each of the 12 Project contributors receives a free enrollment in Artist Class. They will have a specific bio page on the site, with their picture or avatar and information about them and their project.

Two different plans for financial compensation are available; you choose the one that's best for you. You can choose either a flat fee payment or a commission style payment.

If you choose the flat fee, it’s paid on the day your tutorial posts.

If you choose the commission style payment, you’ll be paid weekly based on the registrants who use your discount code.

Who owns the tutorial?

You do. I lease it for the 3 months of the session.

I highly recommend you include your own contact information and copyright disclaimer in your tutorial itself. Because so many projects are introduced in such a short time, our members appreciate downloadable materials they can save and refer to later.

How do I submit an idea?

Start by emailing artistclass@gmail.com with this information:

  • your name
  • project name
  • short description
  • picture of completed project, or one very similar

You'll receive an answer back within 24 hours.

Thanks for your interest in Artist Class, and thanks for submitting your work!
