Hi, I'm Michele Witchell. I'm a fairly recent convert to this online world of art. In 2006 I happened upon a bunch of lovely paper artists in blogland and was so smitten by their beautiful, vintage-style altered art that I decided that's what I wanted to do!! Their love of all things glittery, sparkly, vintage-y, distressed and thrifted became my passion. I soon signed up for lots and lots of swaps and began to discover out what I loved to do in the world of art. I've been married for 25 years, have brought four great kids into this word and recently received one of the best gifts ever: our first grandbaby. Art and farmily are not my only loves, I can't live without friends, coffee, great food, music, bloggers, swaps, and nature.

When giving a gift, I love to have the packaging be as pretty as the gift inside. So I love fashioning these little decorated Best Wishes Cake Boxes to use for just that purpose. But I've found that I love them so much, they have become part of my decor; I take six cake boxes, which makes a whole cake, and set them on a glass cake plate!
