This project is a wrist
cuff inspired by Lilla’s love of Paris. Called 'In Love with Paris', it
will feature one of her handmade velvet flowers, some hand dyed lace, ribbon and
meadering yarns couched along the length.
Shades of a Paris night:
purple and plum.
Lilla Le Vine has been a
teacher and fiber artist for many many years. She’s exhibited in many countries,
including the USA, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, and Switzerland. Shows have
included the International Quilt Festival, Wearable shows, Indigo garments in
NZ and Ribbon embroidery in Australia.
Her next classes will be in Long Beach CA at the Int. Quilt Festival July 23 - 25th, where she’ll teach 5 classes.
Lilla also produce articles for Somerset magazines and others in Australia.
She was born in NZ and
lives in Hawaii.
